Three Little Skeletons

My iPhone doesn't take clear pictures unless people are completely still.
Would you like proof? I knew you would...
Here are some pictures of my kids in their adorable matching pj's my parents got them:
(oh, and did I mention the skeletons glow in the dark?)

So.......I decided to try a movie.
Meet the three little skeletons jumping on a bed...
Can you guess what happens?

Hot Lunch

My oldest is 6 years old. He's going to start 1st grade in 5 days.
He's all boy and he's SO 6 years old.

He very rarely smiles "nicely" for the camera...

He loves to climb trees...

He loves swimming and being with his friends.
Is he excited for 1st grade? He says "no" because then he can't play with his Legos all day. But, I think he's going to love it. I'm really praying for a really good friend in his class because I don't feel like he "clicked" with anyone last year. I may regret that prayer if he & his new best friend get into trouble together all year long...
Reading his letter from school about the beginning of the year tonight I got to the part about bringing money for hot lunches and for some reason that's the part that made me start crying! Whenever I think about him going to school, with money, and getting a tray of food- here come the water works, people! It makes me think of standing in line at my elementary school with a little baggie of pennies my mom would send with me... (I guess that was a creative way to get rid of your pennies but it was a little embarassing to have to stand there and wait for the lunch lady to count them all- but I'm sure it gave me character, right?)
It's the thought of hot food on a tray that makes me realize my little boy's growing up.
I'd better start collecting my pennies.
