We've started our summer vacation with a bang. My little boy is no longer a sweet kindergartener, he's now a 1st grader. And, with that comes big boy things like "Keep Out" signs he has cut off the back of the cereal box. This one was promptly taped to his door. He's very excited his little brother & sister will not come in his room anymore- I didn't want to burst his bubble by telling him they can't read so they won't know what it says...
We had a fun "first day of summer vacation." After naps, which I was so happy to participate in, we got out the slip-n-slide which they received as a gift last summer but never were able to use. So, if this video ever uploads (it's taking forever) you can see that they are still slip-n-slide novices. I will try to post a picture at the end of the summer to see the progress of the sliding. Dawson has figured out the concept. Caitlyn is still not really there yet. Jack was having a special afternoon with Grandma so he's not in the movie.
